A full-time Temporary Works Coordinator embedded within the project team.

Our experienced TWC carried out the role to the full requirements of BS 5975 and helped the Principal Contractor develop a more efficient temporary works management process. Under the improved system, temporary works requirements were identified and forecast more accurately, helping to reduce site delays and align the Main Contractor with the Client's expectations.

Our Temporary Works Advisor visits the complex project on a monthly basis to carry out a temporary works audit. 

We work with the project team, helping them to steadily improve their temporary works management process and become more compliant to BS5975:2019 along the way. Our temporary works expert provides immediate advice when on site, and continues to support the project Temporary Works Coordinator throughout the month. 

Temporary works design for aesthetic, two storey high hoarding located in St. David's Shopping Centre, Cardiff. 

We continually liaised with the contractor throughout design development, ensuring that all materials used in the design were available during the Covid-19 lockdown period, and could readily be sourced. Our design also focused on utilising lightweight materials, maximising the potential for social distancing during installation.

Appointed Person providing consultancy services for new compound site set up. Our expert Appointed Person produced comprehensive, site specific Lifting RAMS; to satisfy the National Grid Hinkley Point C RAMS acceptance criteria. We continued to support our client by providing site safety briefings to all lifting operatives and issuing Permits to Lift, once we were satisfied that the lift could be carried out safely. We ensure all of our Clients start their projects off by getting the basics right, every time!

Temporary works design development for multiple civil engineering and district heating pipework installations. 

Design work includes excavation support and sheet piled solutions for inner city locations. We continue to advise our client on upcoming temporary works and provide cost effective, practical solutions on quick turnaround. 

We worked with APS Homes during the early stages of their project development and pre-construction process; to help plan out the temporary works required for the project. 

Red Fox Construction & Contracting reviewed the project design drawings and specifications to produce a preliminary Temporary Works Schedule. Our Temporary Works coordinator later worked with the contractor the produce tender documents for scaffolding contractors, capturing the full temporary works scope of works.

Our recommendations not only ensured that Barnwood Construction could update their procedure to comply with the latest BS 5975 revision, but went further in helping to make the procedure more straightforward and easy for the contractor's Temporary Works Coordinators and other project personnel to use.
